Nothing much doing around here today. Here are todays visitors to our wild bird dining table and one of the White Tail does that frequently visits the 'deer dining room'. Notice the small brown bird in the photo with the cardinal. That one looks like he is not to be intimidated!

Click to see larger versions. Oops, I accidently got yesterdays in there! Sorry!

I almost missed that little brown bird. That one was my favorite anyway, I like the bright red of the cardnial.

You must have a good long lens or the feeder is close to the window. Good shots, pretty color, nice new bird feeder?

No, my lens isn't long enough for shots like these, but it is amazing what you can do with a bit of cropping and enlarging in a good photo program. Tried to find a teleconverter for my digital but they have been discontinued. They were 150.00 anyway and that is way over my budget! (What budget?....you gotta have money to start with to have a budget!!!)

I think your camera takes clearer pictures then mine. Mine is a 6x Optical Zoom. What is yours?

It has a 10 X opitcal zoom. I took these photos standing at the kitchen sink, with the camera propped on the window sill, with the zoom all the way out, then I zoomed in and cropped in Picassa. I find it very hard to hole it still when it is zoomed out like that. I can see the camera image shake with my heart beat, when I am holding it with my hands.

Try a pawn shop for a teleconverter, would be much cheaper if you could find one. Talked to a military man in Florida who knew all about such things, he said that was the place to look for a telephoto lens for my camera at a fraction of the cost. He told Kenny how to check it to make sure it's not chipped, I'd have to ask him again how to tell.
